I am an interdisciplinary artist working in sculpture, installation, video, and writing. I collect ephemera and work with found objects, treating them as artifacts of human interaction with “place.” Recently, I have undertaken walking as a research methodology for place-based inquiry.  My walking practice fosters a deeper relationship with the Tuolumne River and engages the complex histories and systems endemic to this watershed. I am interested in waste streams, the wildland-urban interface, stewardship, experiential learning, pilgrimage, and alternative epistemologies as means of challenging my preconceptions and ontological approach.
